Hello, How are you? Welcome to todays blog.
We offer three types of newborn sessions. One is in our home studio, one at the comfort of your own home, and the third is outdoors.
This gorgeous session was taken in our studio
This is a beautiful at home newborn session
This is a timeless outdoor newborn session
How do you choose?
Some people may not want to travel so us coming to you is much better as you can stay in your own home.
Others feel the studio is much easier because they don't have to get space ready in the house for photos.
Some want gorgeous sunrise or sunset photos and these sessions are particularly popular since covid.
Whatever you decide all the sessions are equally as special.
This is the second time taking photos of this gorgeous family.
We offer three types of newborn sessions, in our at home studio (like the session I am about to show you.)
In the comfort of your own home, or outdoors which has become super popular since covid. and I am even doing one tonight.
This beautiful mothers clothing is from our client wardrobe, and so are the gorgeous babies knits.
Isn't she just beautiful? I wanted to melt the whole photo shoot.
These sessions are relaxed and show a gorgeous bond and love.
Awww I'll leave you with this cute image as I get ready for my first photo shoot of the day.
How are you all?
I hope the last week of the school holidays is fun for those who have kids and time off, and for those who are working its hump day.
So let's talk light. Did you know in winter the sun is lower so we get the most amazing sunrises and sunsets?
So many clients contact me and ask for a shoot for summer, and I can not stress enough that if you want a shoot this time of year book it, don't wait.
It may be a little chilly but some nights and early mornings have been nice.
Sunrises are later which means not having to get up too early. We started this gorgeous bridal portrait session at 7am, so by the time this photo was taken it was already about 7:15am.
You cant get light much better than this.
Sunsets are earlier which means not having to keep the family up too late. The light this time of the year (if not overcast) is fierce. Like fire., which means I get to capture what I am obsessed with, yes you know it... BACKLIGHT!
This shoot started at 4:15pm and the light was magic.
Even if you aren't after a session at the moment go out and enjoy these amazing winter sunrises and sunsets because they're just so beautiful.
Hi, I am glad you are here for my very first blog post!
Every year I shoot this gorgeous family. The grandparents live in USA so they travel to Australia to see their gorgeous daughter and her family and we do a beautiful session at a new location everytime.
This year we decided on Bondi beach. I love Bondi and grew up there but everyone knows that Bondi can get very busy!! We decided to do a weekday knowing it would be more quiet.
What a gorgeous night we got. There was some fog in the sky but I feel it added to the photos and a beautiful sunset which I love because then I am able to do my favourite thing... BACKLIGHT.
Those who know me know I am obsessed with backlight, but sometimes backlight is impossible if it's overcast, so when we get a good sunrise or sunset I get very excited.
These two sisters are amazing to shoot. The love they have for each other is just so beautiful to watch, so I made sure I got lots of photos with them interacting with each other. To me when I look back on a photo shoot my favourite photos are the ones where we are all interacting with each other. I love capturing memories and raw moments.
The editing process.
